• Home and Events: Our mission is to provide an opportunity for Portland area optometrists to meet and discuss important issues and events
  
  
• About PMOS: PMOS exists to serve its members and its community, both in education and camaraderie. We want the best education so we can become the best doctors and further our chosen profession, optometry. We are lucky to partner with Pacific University College of Optometry to provide opportunities for the most current education about optometric conditions and treatments. Local and national experts often share their knowledge as well. Lectures are hosted monthly from September through April. Additionally, a year end social dinner is held in May. Upcoming events, lectures and locations are listed on the Events page.
  
  
• Join Us: If you are an Optometric Physician licensed in the Portland area, then please join us! Contact PMOS or OOPA for more information.
  
  
• Board Members: PMOS Board Members are elected from the PMOS membership. Any dues paying member is eligible and all positions are volunteer. The purpose of the board is to organize PMOS events and to provide continuity to the organization. Planning meetings are held in late summer and as needed throughout the year.
  
  
• Member Directory: All Optometric Physicians licensed in the Portland Metropolitan Area who are also members of AOA and OOPA are automatically included in the PMOS member directory as a courtesy. Thus, they are allowing other members and also prospective patients to find them. This is a searchable database by name and city. Members may update their contact information by logging in on the Member Login page.
  
  
• Contact Us: If you would like additional information about Portland Metropolitan Optometric Society or wish to become a member, please submit an email to contact@pdxpmos.com. Someone on the Board will contact you.
  
  
• Member Area Login: This is a secure area for all PMOS members. Please log in here to check and update your contact information. Dues paying members are also able to login here in order to register for upcoming lectures and events.
